$30,000.00 REWARD FOR ARREST OF ARSON SUSPECTS

St. Croix has been plagued with several cases involving arson in the recent month. Another $10,000.00 REWARD is being offered by VI PAVING for information leading to the arrest of the individual or individuals responsible for the destruction, determined as arson, of a CAT 323FL Track Excavator owned by VIrgin Islands Paving, inc. The arson occurred during the evening hours of Sunday, June 16, 2019 in the vicinity of Sion Farm.

ATF is also requesting any information regarding the April 30th early morning fire at the Stop and Save Food Market as well as the May 8th fire at St Croix Trading in the Mount Welcome area of Christiansted, VI. Both fires have been determined to have been intentionally set. Both businesses additionally report the theft of cash and other items of value.

A reward in the amount of $10,000.00 has been offered for EACH of these incidents by the ATF for information leading to an arrest in these arson fires.

On Sunday, June 25, 2017, at approximately 2315 hrs., officers from the Richard N. Callwood Command traveled to the area of Estate Lerkenlund in reference to an gunshot victim. Upon arrival on the scene, officers observed an unresponsive black male with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds about his body. Emergency Medical Technicians concluded that the male did not have any vital signs; his next of kin identified him as twenty-two (22) year old Vascott David.
