On Saturday, April 28, 2018 at approximately 3:01a.m., Officers on patrol reported via radio to Central that shots were fired in Hospital Ground area. Upon further inspection Police observed an unresponsive young black male lying on his back. EMT’s on the scene examined the victim who had no vital signs. Investigation revealed that the deceased had sustained multiple
gunshots to his body.

The deceased was later transported to Roy Lester Schneider Regional Medical Center morgue. The deceased was identified as 27-year- old Khalid J. Guishard who was identified by mother; next of kin.

Police on St. Croix are requesting the community’s assistance in locating a woman reported missing by her family. According to the V.I. Police Department, Wanda Rivas, age 47 at the time, was last seen at approximately 6:30 p.m. on May 17, 2015 in the vicinity of The Ice Cream Shoppe in the Sunny Isle Shopping Center. At the time she was wearing a red, blue and white
striped blouse with blue jeans. Wanda Rivas, a Hispanic woman, is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
